Created by Niche, a website which assists people to find the best place to live or study, the 2018 Most Diverse Colleges in America index ranks higher education institutions according to the diversity of their student body and staff in terms of race, nationality and gender.
The ranking considers a range of measures from US Department of Education data, including the Index of Student Racial Diversity, Percent of International Students, the Faculty Diversity Index and the Faculty Gender Ratio.
